Hi! I'm Blandine, a 31-year-old originally from France, but I've been living in Québec for the past 9 years. My husband Pierre and I are currently taking some time off to travel together, and we're excited to finally experience Couchsurfing during this trip!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I first signed up years ago when a friend and I planned a 3-month backpacking trip across Western Canada and the U.S. Back then, we were students with tight budgets, and looking for a way to connect with locals. Now, after spending the last four years renovating our home, we’re back on the road — and back on Couchsurfing — to explore, meet new people, and share meaningful moments with those we meet along the way.

Interests

We both enjoy being outdoors and staying active. I’m into all kinds of hands-on, creative activities, and I can’t stand feeling bored. Pierre is passionate about cooking and hiking — though he really hates paperwork!

Music, Movies, and Books

We don't really have a favorite movie — we're not big movie buffs. My favorite book is L'arbre aux secrets, though Pierre isn’t much of a reader. While traveling, we love listening to pop/folk music like Vance Joy, Milky Chance, or French and Québécois songs.
