About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To fill in the blanks

ABOUT ME

Naturally curious, I like to learn more about the world around me, especially people from different walks of life. I'm always looking to expand my horizons and travel's one of the best ways to do so.

I would describe myself as laid back, but easily excitable.

PHILOSOPHY

Explore the unknown, learn humility, practice compassion.

I believe the world would be a friendlier place if everyone were to just share a meal together. Or in this case, lend a couch :)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Just started here on CS, on the recommendation of a valued friend. When it comes to travel, she never rests on her laurels, and I hope to follow in those footsteps.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My first host, Isaac was most gracious and hospitable during my stay; he offered his home, his food, and most importantly his presence.

A friend and I arrived in La Ciotat after sunset. Isaac met with us at the beach and accompanied us to his place, where dinner with friends/fellow couch surfers was already prepared. Games and songs ensued shortly after.

The next day, Isaac and his friends used their lunch break to hang out with us. We all met up once again for dinner, on the beach this time. I brought a frisbee along, hoping to teach and play Ultimate. Him and his friends absorbed every detail of the game quickly, playing for hours. For beginners, they were fantastic.

We had to leave early the next morning so goodbyes were exchanged, hugs as well. My friend and I left La Ciotat simply amazed by the experience of Couchsurfing. I felt leaving the frisbee was the best way of showing my gratitude.

Interests

Thoughtful films, stirring books, friendly people.

I love filling my head with erudition at libraries,

filling my soul with clarity during meditation,

and filling my heart with rapture among companions.

And basketball.
