To settle down for a while until my next expedition.

ABOUT ME

I was born in Canada, but moved to Australia when I was three. I lived in the middle of the forest outside of the town of Nannup until I was nine, when I moved to live in Fremantle. After finishing high school in 1997 I travelled around the world for 9 months, spending about 5 months in Europe (including a couple of months living in Geneva learning french) and another 4 months in North America, where I mainly stayed with my grandmother in Vancouver. After I returned to Australia I went to university for 5 and a half years. After I finished university I moved to Canada. After 3 years, I left Canada and I am currently traveling around Europe.

PHILOSOPHY

I guess my personal philosophy is to live and let live. I am not religious and I believe in treating everybody fairly on their merits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have only recently gotten into CouchSurfing, so I don't have many stories yet. I was introduced to CS through a fellow Canadian I met in Vilnius, and, through CS, met up with a lady for a coffee in Tallinn.

Music, Movies, and Books

My two favourite movies are Fight Club, and American Beauty.
My favourite books tend to change depending on what I have just been reading. I have not reread a book for a long time.
I like most music. I listen mainly to rock music; most of the music I listen to is slower rock music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Perhaps the most spectacular experience I have had is I spent a week kayaking around Haida Gwaii.
