ABOUT ME

Grew up in Germany, spent a year working in Northern Ireland, studied in Germany and for a short while in Sweden and now: London. Best city there is and I'm trying to take in as much of its energy and beauty as possible. I love meeting people, listening to their stories and possibly learning from them. Laughter is important and against all clichees of humourless Germans I like to think of myself as a rather humourous person :)

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Surfed a few couches in Germany and Sweden, and I plan to do a lot more in the future. No hosting until now but I hope that will change in the future.
I join quite a few meetings and events in London, it's the best way to meet new people in such a big city.

Hanna, Inglourious Basterds, Exit Through the Gift Shop, Love Actually, Notting Hill, This Is England, The Queen, In Bruges, Léon, Inception, 500 Days of Summer.

Books:
Harry Potter, Ian Rankin, Paul Auster, Shantaram, Astrid Lindgren, Salman Rushdie.

And although I don't watch much TV, I love shows like Gilmore Girls, House, Big Bang Theory, How I met your mother, Glee, Scrubs, Dexter...
