ABOUT ME

HI,
I am a friendly, clean, busy mom. My daughter has finished college, so I am hoping that I will be able to do some traveling once she flies the coop.

PHILOSOPHY

I am currently reexamining some of my lack of philosophy. I need to get out of survival mode.
But, "don't be evil" would be a pretty core moral value.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I still cannot host, but once my daughter is out of the apartment I will have a couch to host.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Just one trip With my daughter and it went well and allowed us to experience the East coast together on a road trip. Every one was friendly and kind. I am in mexico right now and am going to try again. Update- had a fantastic experience couch surfing experience in San Miguel due Allende.

I am a cinephile, I read a lot of cookbooks but don't cook as much as I should, I tend towards alternative with pop in the mix and I enjoy novels (ie:kurt vonnegut) but tend to read such things as news magazines. Oh! and I have killed my television for many years now but cheat with Netflix and my computer.
I just got my scuba license in mexico and so that just became my new hobby.

I have seen so many that it melds into this singular experience that the world in often beautifully unexpected. but during this current trip I saw the pyramids near mexico city. Spectacular. Coral reefs in Cozumel. I also discovered buñuelos. Yum.
