We moved to Pukerua Bay, where takes 40 mims train ride from Wellington, from Hamilton NZ Nov 2015 after living in Tokyo till April 2011 and in Sydney till 2014. There are 3 of us:

* Simon from Christchurch, NZ
* Chooch from Akita, Japan
* Our daughter, Cassandra (her Japanese name is Ann, which means apricot), who was born in August 2010 and grew up in Japan, Australia and NZ.

We started Couchsurfing in 2009 when we were looking at traveling to Vladivostok.

* Seeing a camel pass in front of our apartment followed by a BMW (in Korla, Xinjiang, China).
* Entered China at the border of North Korea and left there from the border of Kyrgyzstan.
* Seeing tanks outside the White House (in Kyrgyzstan).
