Join Couchsurfing to see Jennie’s full profile. It’s free!
I´m a friendly girl who´s done a bit of traveling, but there are still so many places I'm keen on seeing. I love to make videos (both as a hobby and as an early career artist) and I could talk about cinema and music for hours. I also love volunteering and dressing up for parties and Halloween. Oh and I wanna get into VJ-ing coz I think it's wicked.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing
This website has introduced me to some amazing people and it's just an all-round great community.
Learning about other cultures, teaching English, discussing cinema, music, art, eating delicious food, getting off my arse to volunteer AND creative ideas for the betterment of humanity :-)
Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Music is my soooul food! I love me some Janelle Monae, Cat Power, PJ Harvey, Bjork, Joanna Newsom, Kate Bush... as for the dudes, I love Outkast, a bit of Nick Cave, a bit of Frank Ocean, a bit of Blur... too many to name.
Movies: Hayao Miyazaki, Lynch, Chaplin, Lynne Ramsay, Lukas Moodysson, Michel Gondry, Luc Besson (back in the day). I've got some mad love for PARIS TEXAS. I also love Bowfinger. My tastes are super eclectic ;)
Books: I'm going through a non-fiction phase right now, but I have to say one of my fabvourite books is Trainspotting: hilarious, terrifying and poignant.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
When I was 19 I climbed Mt Fuji in $10 sneakers and on no dinner except for "milk bread"... oh, and this is by no means amazing, but after a big night out in Seoul I got completely lost, jumped in a taxi, realised I'd lost my wallet in a drunken stupor, was taken to the wrong embassy, used the taxi drivers phone to speak with a dude in Canberra, and finally remembered my way back to my hotel and was able to pay this very, very patient taxi driver. We even hugged!
Teach, Learn, Share
I'm one of those people who may appear a bit reserved at first, but if I feel comfortable I become a bit of a chatterbox. I love to discuss so many different topics, from the serious to the ridiculous, that I'm sure we'll be learning from each other in some way.
