Hello 😊 My name is Anamaria, I’m a 33 years Romanian girl, physiotherapist, trying to live the life following my dreams. I was born in Romania, but I left the country in 2010. I lived in France until 2016, and now I’m living on a beautiful island- Guadeloupe 🌴 (French department). Unfortunately I didn’t really experienced Couchsurfing (just 2 times, and it was great! I’ve met 2 wonderful persons that become good friends now), because I moved a lot of times, in small flats most of the time and I rarely had an available couch.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To Travel and meet new people (that maybe can transform in Friends), to listen to their lifestories, to share and create beautiful memories.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Unfortunately, I don't have an available couch for the moment, but I can show you some nice places around, we can meet eachother to talk, laugh and discover the differences or/and similarities of our cultures.
When I have time, I can cook and invite you for some traditional dishes from Romania 😊

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

All my life is an adventure 😊
But the one that changed me: when I was 25 years, I left everything in Romania (family, friends, home, job...), I left the country and came in France... such an adventure!
I arrived with only 100€ in my pocket, without speaking a word of French, without knowing anyone, without a job or my diploms being recognized. I built everything on my own, from nothing.
It wasn’t easy but was so rewarding and enriching life experience! 🙏🏼
