About Me

After trying to study philosophy and economics for a year I found this not to be what I wanted. So I moved to Berlin and here I am now all settled with Art History and PR/Journalism.

I'm an openminded person and for me there's nothing more fun than meeting new people and getting to know their view on the world. Every little story we share and each new experience has the possibility to influence the life of others. That's as easy and great as it gets :)

How about some random facts?
I make my little brother want to watch a certain kid's movie so I can, too.
I love snowflakes! But I hate snow and ice if they stay longer than 2 weeks ;)
I collect earrings and each new place I go I buy a pair.
As soon as I have enough money I will get my pilote's license. I want to since the first time I boarded a plane.

As of Berlin, you might say it's actually a lot of different cities balled into one. There's a lot of possibilities to explore it with friends and associates. And I just love doing so! So if you are in Berlin and maybe one day you want in with our partyplans just write me a message.

There's always room to broaden one's horizon.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love meeting new people from all over the world so CS seems perfect. That's also why I like to go to events not only in my hometown but especially when i'm abroad.
Not to mention hosting has proven to be a great experience so far!

I went to Italy for a language course in September 2010. The teachers told us it wouldn't be that easy to get to know locals in Florence. But with Couchsurfing it was quite the other way around.
Not only were there a lot of friendly people willing to show me the best places and the nicest bars in their city but I also formed new friendships with the most interesting and amazing persons who truly believe in the idea of trusting strangers and sharing flat and life with them.
My experiences there make me want to give back to the CS-Community what I recieved.

In short: I am a sucker for great movies, would kill for decent coffee and couldn't do without laughter and friends.

I'll also never tire of art, music and parties, fairs and rollercoasters or hot wine punch around christmas.

Music, Movies, and Books

As for my music, well, I listen to a lot of Rock and Indie but depending on the mood I'm in I might just end up with nearly anything between Metallica (thanks Dad!), french Hip Hop and Sigùr Ros.
Some of my favourites are: The Clash, Ray Charles, Ohrbooten, Bonaparte, Irie Révoltés, Alexi Murdoch, The Holloways, Juliette & The Licks, Soko, Sigùr Ros, The Brunettes, Muse, Oceana, The Kills, The Cat Empire
