I'm a friendly, open-minded world citizen who enjoys conversation, travel, making new friends, and a hot cup of tea. Not a real party boy, but I like a party - a nice evening is spent sight-seeing , or a staying in visiting and watching movies. More than a place to stay, I enjoy getting to know each other, sharing stories and forming connections in the Couch Surfing spirit. I enjoy hosting and making connections.

ABOUT ME

I'm from the West Coast, USA - I live in a little developing town called Lebanon, in the heart of Willamete Valley in Oregon...it's quaint and close to I-5 and just about an hour to Portland and 25 to Corvallis, where the University OSU resides. My boyfriend is often visiting here when I'm not visiting him.

I enjoy nostalgia, vintage furniture, movies, music, research and intellectual conversation - compassion, love, sympathy and kindness are guiding principles in my life. I consider myself honorary 'Dutch' based on a closeness and fondness Ive had with that culture. I have faith, and attend an open-minded church at times, but believe in Gods' love for ALL people (not people's interpretation of such) and don't identify by a particular religion.

I work in theatre and radio from time to time, as well as support and teach technology to Seniors. I believe in Karma becuase I've seen it...and if you need a place to stay for a night or two, and want to connect socially and safely, I usually have extra room available with minimal notice. LGTBQ friendly and pet home.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've traveled now to Netherlands and Belgium and made some lifelong friends there thanks to this network- I enjoy the opportunity to share experiences and swap stories...maybe make a few new friends along the way as I contribute to the wear pattern in couches...also giving back to the network allowing travelers the chance to check out my town and area...

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I enjoy surfing at homes of people who have stories to share and time to listen as well - I like the insight and perspective these couch surfing "sessions" provide to both sides. I don't like guessing games and will take you at your word so please be authentic and I will too.
