ABOUT ME

I believe in friendship and community. As I go into medical school, I come with a belief that health care is a human right and that our culture's views on healing are hugely distorted by capitalist values.

I love theater and film, and consider myself an amateur actor. I enjoy playing cards, biking for transport (never had a car), and cooking for friends. Currently learning more about yoga and meditation in the context of community service and activism.

I'm only now starting a profile, but I have done couchsurfing informally for a long time. Hosting and surfing. I recently lived in a co-op in Oakland where we frequently hosted people from all over the world.
