Hello! I’m currently exploring New Zealand on a working holiday visa and as ever making plans for my next destinations around the world. I love travelling and meeting new people, exchanging stories and cultures. I also enjoy reading, drawing, making ceramic things, hiking, gardening, cooking and doing yoga.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Travelling is expensive! And it’s more fun when you can stay with locals or hitchhike and can gain a bit of local knowledge and advice, as well as getting to meet lovely individuals all over the world. Seems like a much more human exchange than checking into a hostel or hotel :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Fave music: all kinds, especially Jazz/ Funk/ Soul and old Rock. But really a bit of everything. Would love to see Alabama Shakes and Grace Jones live- they’re top of the list.
Fave movies: American Beauty; anything by Tarantino/ Sofia Coppola/ Hitchcock/ Wes Anderson/ Kubrick; La Belle et la Bête; Dougal and the Blue Cat.
