Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I want to find a way to meet the best of people when I am travelling. I always think that a local perspective on a place is unique and different from the one given to tourists. Couchsurfing also allows for an authentic experience and a great insight into different places.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Volunteered in a hospital in rural India for two weeks, working with doctors and patients as well as meeting local people and learning about their history and culture.

I would love to learn about the local culture of the host's area and also to talk to the host about their life and their inspirations and motivations.

I am well educated on a great number of subjects and I have an active interest in plenty of topics. From languages to science to religion and philosophy I love to sit down and talk to people and widen my perspective on the world.
