I am a feminist who is retired from counseling professions, and, at last, enjoy complete freedom!

PHILOSOPHY

Waste not, want not. Stop and smell the roses. Action is the antidote to despair. Do what you can, with what you have, where you are. Leave things in better condition than they were when you found them. If you don't like the rules, work to establish new ones. Allow people their dignity and common human needs.

Creative expression through song, dance, writing, design. My creations must have a practical purpose. Quality workmanship (within a middle-class budget) matters.

I promote movies made by, for, and about women. I like music that makes me want to sing (has a melody) and dance (has a good beat) and that does not promote discrimination and violence. I tend to like non-fiction which can be repetitive in book form, so lean toward periodicals for reading.
