ABOUT ME

I'm a child of nature and LOVE to adventure about. I'm am interested in science education, sustainability, global ecology, immunology, and chemistry of botanical medicine for global health care. I LOVE to travel and have fun while appreciating and getting to know the culture. Also, my cheek muscles often hurt due to smiling so frequently at life :) I am very tidy, spontaneous, enjoy cooking, running around in the mountains, and diving in the ocean!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I love to meet new people and learn about new places and cultures, or just a neighboring state! The only time I hosted a couple, I fell in love with the idea and philosophy of couch surfing.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've couchsurfed in Italy and it was amazing. I really appreciated the cultural exchange and friendship that came out of my experience! I've also couchsurfed in Texas during a conference and had a wonderful time.

I like to read non-fiction science and environmental books, Harry Potter, travel and philosophy books. Movies: artsy films, mysteries, chick-flicks, and classic romances.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

The steep dark and misty valleys filled with moonlight when traveling by bus to Puerto Lopez from Quito in Ecuador during the night was one of the most astounding soul-deep feelings that I have experienced. Truly another world. I LOVE South America!!!!! I went to Ecuador, Peru, and Bolivia, and since then have traveled also to Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras, the Dominican Republic, Italy, Switzerland, Croatia, and England.

I would love to talk about healing traditions, climate change, the ocean, your favorite spot in town, and cooking...or anything else, but those are just my favorites :) I can teach you my favorite card game, cook something for you, play some music if I have my flute with me, or take you on a walk and point out/tell you about different medicinal plants.
