My current mission is to see, do as much as I can, create some good memories and make new friends.e

ABOUT ME

Okay so, let's see... outgoing: in a group of new people I like to introduce myself and get the conversation rolling. Opportunist: if I have the chance to go surfing, explore a cave or eat dinner with some locals, I'll do it. Energetic: I am a bit loud at times, and generally excited and ready to get out and do things (most of the time, everyone has their days, hahaha). I guess outgoing, opportunist and energetic are pretty close... um, what else...lastly I would say I am fun and considerate.

PHILOSOPHY

I think we all should try to be happy, and enjoy the simple things in life. And I don't want to sound cheesy or fake, but I really feel that is a good way to live. I do admit though, sometimes it is hard to live that way. It's okay to complain and be a "Negative Nancy" on occasion (I think everyone falls into it sometimes), and it's a fast paced world and sometimes we forget the simple things; the important thing is that we try :)

Surfed in Paris France, had some amazing experiences, met some really cool people who I will never forget.

Intereses

Well, first off, I enjoy travelling, going to new places, meeting new people learning about their culture! My hobbies are: ceramics and other artsy things,reading, watching movies and television. I know it's kind of bad to say you like watching movies and television but I really do, and I figure that I do enough other stuff I'm aloud the guilty pleasure of TV and movies :) I love visiting places I have read about or seen pictures of; it's like a dream coming true.
I am studying nursing, so I enjoy medical things/innovations, sociology and a interest in advocating for human rights. I hope that one day I can be a part of an organization like doctors without borders; I really just want to make a difference in someone's life. I like trying new food, all kinds, not too picky, I'll try anything once.
Oh, what else can I say, um... I like being active in that, I like relaxing bike rides,leisurely hikes, walks, exploring, zumba,I would like to start yoga and maybe kick boxing!

Algo increíble que he hecho

Oh, one of the most amazing things I have ever done was Artic swimming in Bugoynes, Norway. First we toured the town with a population of like 300 people, if I remember correctly. Then we went to this awesome sauna stayed in there until we were sweating like crazy! After sweating our toxins out we ran down the hill to the ocean (the water was in the negatives!C)and ran down the beach into the water. It was freezing but it felt so good, my skin felt great; a bunch of the guys did it several times, I only did it twice but it was so funny watching them run and scream, hahaha.

I guess one thing I have really learned while being abroad is that if someone from another country, or even your home country, is sharing something with you, listen to them and really hear what they are saying (whether its funny, sad, amazing, or different from your own experiences or beliefs; just listen, and then reply or share). Also if someone is asking you a question, or they don't know what you or other people are talking about, don't make them feel stupid with a mean remark, arrogant tone or nasty look; its just not nice, or helpful in any way, for anyone.
