Hello! I’m Bo, 18 years old and I live close to Ghent. You might think: ‘Hmm 18, that’s young’, but my lifequote is: ‘Age and glasses of wine should never be counted’. So take the risk and meet someone young, we might have a lot in common!

I’m sociable, outgoing and curious. Curious about other people, other cultures.. everything! A little party never killed nobody, but I also like to see some culture and hear some stories.
I like being creative and playing with kids, I combine these 2 things at my youth movement: Chiro. I love it!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

My parents are those kinds of people who travel to warmer countries, book an expensive hotel and stay there in the sun for a whole week. I hate it! I want to see the world at its fullest, not a hotel.

Now, I have reached the age of 18. I can travel alone or with friends, and this is going to be completely different! I love travelling low-budget. You can do so much more! This is why I’m on couchsurfing. Like I said, I want to see the world at it’s fullest and this implies the local people. They know so much more about the country! I'd really like to meet new people, with new stories.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In 2017, I travelled to Romania. I didn’t know a thing about the country, but that’s what made it so amazing. At first, we went to Bucharest. This was a nice city, we had fun!
But, the best was yet to come. We travelled to Bran, we did it because yeah, ‘Transsylvanië’. Dracula’s castle was a dissapointment, but the nature there, wow! We climbed onto the mountains, it was hard but I had so much energy! We kept going until we were far into the snow. It was already a bit dark, so we could see some stars already. There was it: The most beautiful skyline I had ever seen.

At the moment, I still live with my parents so I can’t offer a place to sleep. I’m definitely going to do this when I’ve got my own place.

I’d like to meet up and give you some information and tips about the city or about our little (but beautiful) country. I’d love to hear stories and maybe we’ll keep contact!
