I'm an avid traveler back in Asia :) I speak some Chinese and am currently trying to learn traditional characters. 我叫小波 ! Currently in SE Asia and on my way over to Japan for a short stint.

I play the guitar, love meeting friendly people, playing pool, cinema, and tasty pints. I spent a good chunk of my 20's traveling and living in Asia, and I have spent half my life living in Montreal, a city I love. I'm fully vaccinated and happy to take whatever precautions hosts see fit to make sure you are comfortable with me coming to stay for a short visit.

I also really like martial arts in case there are any great schools that I could see or you if also study :)

I'm looking forward to meeting locals, learning, listening, and going out! It probably goes without saying, but LGBT-friendly hosts only please!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm looking people who might be up for showing me a bit of their city, or at least some beautiful locations or a good spot to grab a bite or a pint. I'm also very autonomous, so no pressure to hit the town with me if you're not into it.
Ideally I'd like to meet people who can tell me about their city, potentially show me around a bit, and tell me what they think is the coolest about it. Also, if there's live music that you've been wanting to see, especially something female-fronted, I'm super game to check it out with you.

I once traveled to rural India to find an infamous feminist gang. I met their leader-- she braided my hair and gave me one of the staffs they fight with.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you a bit of guitar, how to play pool, how to paint with acrylics, Taekwondo, and how to whistle loudly one-handed.

I'm always happy to share music and stories, and I am a good listener, too!
