ABOUT ME

Bo is 30 years old and a teacher in arts at a primary school for children with special needs in Holland, also tought a lot of creative workshops for younger kids. I love to draw, make things, bake applepie, take photographs and edit them, go to museums and that kind of stuff. I also love to run and do triathlon, I like to spend my free time in the outdoors, with friends, mountainbiking, swimming, or just enjoying the sun and having a picnick.

Diede is a professional triathlete (Dutch national long distance team) and he did a lot of traveling. He always tries to make the best of everything he does and is very positive and friendly.

Our biggest adventure was in New Zealand, we have biked over 6500 km around the North and South Island.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Bo had a surfing experience in Maastricht, very positive and friendly people.

Together we stayed for two nights with a lovely kiwi-couple in Rotorua (NZ), we met them when we were biking around the North Island.

In Invercargill we surfed at a dutch/nz couple, Mike and Roz, and we had a great relaxed time there!

After coming back to Holland we decided we wanted to host people as well, what we do, not so much on couchsurfing, but on warmshowers.org, a website for tour-cyclists.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Completed a 6500 km bike ride around New Zealand.
