ABOUT ME

I am a lover of all things outdoors. Nature feels like home to me so I spend a lot of time with her. I enjoy my solitude so I can ponder.... I love to ponder. But there is no substitute for good company. I try to find the good in all people, but sometimes fail miserably (it could be my fault or theirs). I think I can honestly say, though, that I get along with all types of people.
I wish that I could be more content with myself the way I am. I am very happy with certain things about myself, but I want to be more compassionate, ambitious, passionate, forgiving, decisive, accepting, courageous, thick-skinned, and wise. Maybe we all feel that way to a certain extent. I will be constantly working on accepting the things I cannot change about myself.
It's always invigorating to create something unique. I try to write songs, critics might call them bullshit, but at least some of them are unique.
I am on a constant spiritual quest to understand more about what I believe. I don't want to frame my beliefs in the context of anyone else's predetermined religious systems (although some are useful) so the process is neverending.
I am a flip-flopper. I feel lost then found, sure then unsure, nervous then at ease, intelligent then ignorant. I have found that it is much easier to not come to any concrete conclusions about myself or the world because sooner or later I will be proven wrong.

So far... I surf couches. I want somebody to surf my couch! But no one wants to come to Indiana :(

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

The only experience I have had so far was during a trip through Europe last summer. It was more than I could have ever expected! The trust and honesty of the people I have met in the couchsurfing network is unsurpassed.
