I am retired from the airlines. Since then I have traveled and taken care of family. I am also a self taught caterer, and have catered receptions, dinners and in home catering. I have also managed an international music group. (see below)
I have two states I call homes. LOL.
My family and I live in TN except my mom who is in a nursing home in AZ.
I have airline privileges, so I am able to travel between TN and AZ on a regular basis to keep my mom encouraged.

Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

Being retired I am on somewhat of a restricted income. But I have airline privileges, so I can travel, I just need a safe, clean place to stay.
The other thing about Couchsurfing, is you have that opportunity to meet others, experience different cultures and traditions. You have the opportunity to meet people and even make new life long friendships.

Interessen

Having airline privileges. I have traveled to almost all the corners of the world. Eastern Europe, including Germany and Ukraine which are among my favorite.

I have always been involved in music, either singing in a choir or encouraging and supporting my kids in music programs. I was a band / choir booster parent for 12 years with the kids high school. And I volunteered with drum Corps for 10 years.

I also was involved with a ministry in Ukraine (Music Mission Kiev) and organized and managed their 2018 tour.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love all types of music from classical to classic rock. From big band to song writer. I guess the music ofbthe 60's and 70's are my go to music. But I do like pop, I do like instrumentals.
I enjoy going to musicals, theater, plays, concerts and Symphony concerts.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I organized and managed a concert tour for a choir and string ensemble from Ukraine. Then spent 7 weeks on tour with these amazing people.

I may not have College experience, but I have experience in customer service, marketing, management, leadership, and family. I worked for a major airline for 35 years the last 3 years as a manager with 30 plus on my direct report.

I am an honest, open person. I am easy to talk to and a good listner. I enjoy many things, especially laughter.
I will be a helper if you need help with something, or I can stay out of the way.
