I was previously a member, but was doing a lot of construction on my house and closed my account. I've hosted some great people, and plan on doing more traveling myself, while meeting fellow couchsurfers along the way.

I'm pretty open to all types of music ... usually classical radio is on at the house, or the local Americana(ish) local listener-supported WYEP. I go to a fair amount of movies, from foreign indies to pop culture car chasing superhero comedies ... I have a song on YouTube, my band Bingo Quixote, "Maybe You Caught the Roses" : (www.youtube.com/watch/v=RYdD2k4ewbM) I'm a former bookstore owner(which I sold a few years ago), so I'm a reader ... I've translated two books of poetry by Jean-Joseph Rabearivelo, the great African surrealist poet of Madagascar.
