I'm trying to learn and understand as much as I can about the world surrounding me; more specifically, how language works and evolves.

ABOUT ME

I've had a rich personal life and an unconventional professional life. I'm 34 and I might have had more different jobs than that already. I'm more an evening kind of guy than a morning kind of guy. I love reading and learning. I'm a good second-in-command.

PHILOSOPHY

Try to have as much fun as you can, life is too short, try to be a positive model for people around you, work only in fields that actually interest you.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I'm willing to exchange with people on a variety of subject; I'm curious about everything and knowledgeable about quite a few things. I could show you how extremely easy it actually is to learn foreign languages, especially French since it's my native tongue, with tons of tricks and examples. Also for the video game lovers among you, I could show you how to get unlimited lives in Super Mario Bros on the NES :)

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm just getting started. I live in a house where we see alot of people come by and stay for a short while then leave to be replaced by new people, and I found out that I like the dynamic! I can't offer a couch right now because the house is not mine, but maybe someday I will!

Intereses

Way too many things, but mostly science, linguistics, gaming (video or otherwise), awful movies (you read that right), keeping in shape, staying up all night talking, chatting or studying.

The worse a movie is, the more I like it. My favorite movies are Ultimax force, Deadly Prey, Hologram Man, Super Ninjas 2 (once I show one of those to you, everything will become clear.)

I read science vulgarization books, but only because I'm not intelligent enough to understand the technical ones.

I like all kinds of music. I do mean ALL kinds of music.

I have seen the interior of a volcano crater, first-hand.
I have created thousands of custom Magic the Gathering cards.
I've played pinball machines in every canadian province except for Prince Edward's Island.

If you come over for a drink, I'm gonna show you an endless supply of nice little places to eat, drink, and have fun in Montreal! It's a very cosmopolitan places, and I know of tons of place where one can eat delicious food for a reasonable price.
