About Me

Currently travelling by train (and boat or bus if there's no train) from Timor to Europe.

Likes bushwalking, reading, listening to music, bike-riding, talking, eating...

Sceptic, in the sense of not accepting blindly. I find it too hard to say anything definite about existence, so I can't really say I have any firm philosophical opinions ... except that it's difficult to have firm philosophical opinions!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I have hosted a little bit, but my job was 550km from my home, so I wasn't home much, so hosting was limited.

I am now travelling with my partner from Australia to Europe, so we're staying with hosts as well as meeting CS'ers socially.

Couchsurfing is a fantastic way to meet local people and see places with their eyes. It makes travelling so, so much more rewarding!

Reading, cooking, walking, canoeing, listening to music, talking about grammar!

Music, Movies, and Books

A wide variety of music, especially traditional/folk music, quieter vocal-based music, but also dance music like salsa, afro-pop ... most things except opera and heavy metal I'll give a go!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Tree-planting in northern Canada; five months bike-riding and camping up the east coast of Australia.

Countries I’ve Visited

Canada, Germany, Russian Federation

Countries I’ve Lived In

Australia, Canada, Germany
