I'm a grad student in Seattle, Washington now. I lived in Japan for about 4 years right after college, but I'm back in the states for the mean time. I like to go out and have a good time.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

so far I have only met a few people through the site, but they've all been really kind and interesting. I've hosted a lot of "friends of friends", etc, and it's always fun to have new people around. Also, hosting travelers almost makes you feel like you're on vacation too!

兴趣

I'm really into studying languages. I really like eastern languages, especially ones that use chinese characters (Chinese and Japanese). I studied a lot of french in high school, but have forgotten a lot.

I've been obsessed with video games since I got my first Nintendo at 6. I could play for 24 hours straight without food or sleep. When my mom finally made me quit, I sometimes couldn't move my neck muscles anymore.

I also like playing board games and card games.

I like to play guitar and sing, but I'm not that good at it :)

I rented a house in Tokyo for a couple years to throw parties. The neighbors hated me. I particularly like costume parties. I tried to have a toga party a couple months ago, but it seems most japanese people don't know what a toga is...

Watching the world evolve over the last 26 years. Things which seemed like dreams when I was a kid have now become realities. I'm excited (and also a little scared) to see what will change over the next 26.
