I'm normally so reluctant to write these things, but here goes my bodged attempt at doing so....

I'm addicted to travelling - to discovering new cultures and places. I'm fascinated by cities and love to hear the diverse array of languages and taste the delights of traditional cuisines. I have a passion for the urban environment, I love simply strolling through a new city discovering wonderful and quirky architecture and letting the buzz of a place seep in - even what may be a mundane everyday activity can be a fascinating sight for a traveler!

I'd like to think I'm relatively outgoing, although i'm sure that this is something still to be worked on! I love to hear about other people's culture, passions and interests. I pride myself on being a profoundly passionate person when it comes to discussing the history and future of my home town and my interests in my local football team (Middlesbrough FC). I believe I am quite a receptive person and open-minded and would love to hear others thoughts and opinions on the world (although I may tend to disagree from time to time!)
