ABOUT ME

I kinda love the random nature of meeting strangers and trading stories, usually over summer beers in a park somewhere. I just moved back to mtl.a couple years back after 5 years in LA. I loooove to read and watch movies, definitely riding my bike (both geared and fixed, new found fondness for lycra and clipless pedals), hipster watching, and taking pictures while listening to music. I think airports are severely underrated.

I can confidently say that I'm in touch with who I am, and would like to hangs with someone similar. If that's not exactly you, that's cool also. I think what's important is being around people who are passionate and driven, in whatever way they choose, and without pretense. I don't take myself all that seriously, and think a self-deprecating sense of humor is kinda the best. I'm definitely queer-positive, and think having an open mind is the best way to go through life.

PHILOSOPHY

life had no meaning the moment you lose the illusion of being eternal... or something like that

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

couch surfing through this site is definitely new for me, though in past travels I've been fortunate enough to meet new and great people and connected in a similar manner to the way this site works. Always looking forward to new experiences, and what better way to find them than through meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

When I was 23, the first time I went overseas, I spent a month in Morocco with my girlfriend at the time. I met this amazing guy on the bus ride from Agadir to Marrakech. We struck up conversation, and he invited us to stay with him and his family at a small inland village. We stayed with them for three days and it was by far one of the best experiences of the trip. Ever since then, I've realized the virtue in meeting new people on your travels, and how much they can inform your take on the everyday.
