ABOUT ME

I believe the point of life is to enjoy it and I do everything I can to make that happen.

I recently graduated from the University of Michigan with a double major in Physics and Astronomy. Throughout college I was a poster-child for the phrase 'I work hard and I play hard.' I was forced to study long strenuous hours but always made time to relax and hang out with my friends or go out and party til the sun comes up.

I am very athletic and don't think I have come across a sport that I don't enjoy.

I am very much a scientist and engineer and love having technical conversations and debates.

I am a very happy and positive person and think that people who are not should fix whatever it is that makes them unhappy.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe the purpose of life is to enjoy it, and I try to do everything I can to make that possible.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I am a new member, thus I do not have much to say about how I participate. However, I am excited to start.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have extensive couchsurfing experience, however all of it occurred in my college town and began as an encounter with someone at a bar or party and as the night continued people (or I) needed a place to crash.

Interessen

I spend lots of the summer boating, jetski-ing, actual skiing and relaxing on a nice beach.
Outdoors: All sports(sand volleyball), walking, camping and hiking.
Indoors: Again all sports, bars, clubs, cards(Euchre, Poker), movies and pool.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I enjoy virtually all movies but my favorite type would have to be action/thriller.

Basically the same response to music, depending on the situation I enjoy all types of music.

Most of my reading material consists of textbooks but I also enjoy books like "What Einstein Told his Barber." I found I enjoy books on tape while driving and have 'read': Last Man Standing, Living Biblically, Extreme Measures and The Iliad.

30 day 8,000 mile road trip covering the Western half of the United States.

Lehren, lernen, teilen

Teach: I have a fairly extensive knowledge of everything 'Physics' and thoroughly enjoy talking about science and engineering. I also played football for eight years and have introduced many people and taught them about the game.

Learn: I would like to improve my Spanish and in general am always up for learning something new.
