About Me

CURRENT MISSION

to have no mission

ABOUT ME

All about me??...love all things cultural. Music, art, street art, fashion, design of any sort. Big fast cities and deep tropical rainforest. Love to socialise, hang out with friends, and love to spend time by myself, either at home listening to music, or walking to my favourite cascade. oh yeah, and travel, travel, travel

PHILOSOPHY

Never regret because at that time thats exactly what you wanted to be doing.....be the occasional taker and the often giver, it's as important to know how to give as it is to recieve..

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only discovered cs since this journey so have surfed but not hosted so far. Having said that, i feel it's been a karmic exchange so far as i have 'put up' many people over the years on the community where i was living near Byron Bay. Love it!! Look forward to hosting on my return...whenever that may be!!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As above

Interests

As aforementioned, most things cultural. Am quite into stencil art and have been known to participate quite a bit. Also love dj ing but really just for myself or for small parties with close friends....can all get a bit too serious and wanky in the dj world. I love design and seeing cool bars and cafes. Its what i do for a living, set them up and manage them for people.
Also love more than almost anything getting out into the nature, sleeping under the stars, cooking over an open fire, morning swims in the ocean. Like to eat well and stay healthy, not always easy...easier said than done... Am also very interested in Aboriginal culture, lived with an Aboriginal community for a while that opened up my world, as travelling does, hence the addiction.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

when i saw the looks on the faces of the children in Ramche village, border of Nepal and Tibet, who had never seen a westerner before.
Watching sunset from the highest dune in the Sahara, Merzouga, Morocco.
Helping Betty, our cow give birth to her beautiful baby calf Leroy!!
Watching the Priscilla the python that lived in our roof, shed her skin.

Teach, Learn, Share

I think it's so important to learn about other culture's. It's so easy to sit back and judge in ignorance without knowing how or why. The more we learn about eachother, the more we breakdown the ignorance and solidarity of ethos, religion and self importance. we really are all one and all the same at the end of the day.
