ABOUT ME
I'm semi-retired, moved to Florida from San Diego, have traveled extensively through all but 2 of the United States, lived in Chile, Hawaii, St. Thomas, and Germany. Speak Spanish and can sort of get by in Portuguese. I enjoy being around others, am cheerful and friendly. I'm a former Peace Corps Volunteer in Chile. Most recently (2014) I taught English in Armenia, Quindio, Colombia, at SENA Agroindustrial.
PHILOSOPHY
I'm interested in the Spiritual world, have studied healing, Brazilian healing in particular, and feel that we are here to serve.

I'm a calm person, don't get too excited when situations get heated, enjoy being around others, have had a lot of life experience, many adventures, enjoy travel.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've slept on a lot of couches and have hosted other Couchsurfers. If you are visiting Miami please note that Vero Beach is 260 mi, (420 km.) north of Miami.

I'm not an avid reader or movie goer. I enjoy suspense movies.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've been on archeological digs in Peru, trekked in the Amazon, lived on sailboats, ocean racing, sports car racing, travel to exotic places.

I enjoy he latin world, love to speak Spanish and enjoy the interaction of being in a foreign Spanish or Portuguese speaking country.
