Like all good travelers I pass on any traveling tips, as well as sharing stories, experiences and good humor.

Most important to me is experiencing the life, people and culture of a place.

I have couchsurfed in Paris and had a great experience meeting friendly people.

Interests

I love reading and also write stories and poetry.

I play the guitar and am trying to learn the harmonica and trumpet. (Don't worry, I won't be traveling with any instruments.)

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy almost all music. My favorites are: Blues, Jazz, Rock n' Roll (in that order)

I love stories of all kinds. In literature I enjoy mostly fiction, classics & poetry. I have many favorite writers. My top few are Jack London, Jack Kerouac, Charles Bukowski, Ernest Hemingway, Hunter S. Thompson, T.S Elliot. . .

In film I watch everything in all genres (bar musicals) from all over the world. Love Film Noir, cult & classic film. My favorite Director is Stanley Kubrick, followed by Tarantino.
