I'm married to a wonderful old hippie (Bob), we live with two kitties..one brash young upstart and one crabby geriatric feline, both males. I have two grown daughters, one in college and one about to make me a grandmother in November, for the first time.

PHILOSOPHY

I try to see the silver lining in any situation..whenever I read my horoscope for fun, the Pisces sign seems to be a gentle, mellow sign..that's me! I have a wonderful marriage. I don't try to change him, and I overlook the small stuff.

I have only been a member for a short while. I think this is just fabulous!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My cousin Allice and I are trying to couchsurf our way to Florida and back during the month of November so we can attend the birth of my grandson and hang around for a couple of weeks afterward :-)

Interests

I took the state sponsored motorcycle rider course several years ago, so now I ride my own Motorcycle..a Yamaha V-star. I love to garage sale..my home is Garage Sale Chic! it's not junk, it's junque!
I also love to read, many different genres.

Let's see... i'll admit to reading some romantic fluff. The only thing that bugs me is the dialogue, occasionally...Real people very rarley use the word 'perhaps' in the course of a normal conversation!
I enjoy almost all music..except maybe the extremely heavy "shred" or screaming metal.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Hmmm, i'll be a cliche' and say the Grand Canyon. The streams and valleys in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Niagara Falls... the view form my front or back porch swing.

I've learned that it's helpful to just pick up a few (or one!)out of place items every time you walk through a room..this keeps clutter to a minimum.
