ABOUT ME

I've been a globe-trotter in recent years and have newly become infatuated with South America and Brazil in particular.

I'm not much of a partier (I don't smoke and RARELY drink, as I'm a health-nut), but I like to dance, enjoy sports of various kinds (especially basketball, volleyball, and ping-pong!), and fitness training. I also love the outdoors!

Doing something that matters in life is important to me. It seems silly to live selfishly or to just go through the motions. That'd be a waste, IMHO. :>

I've accidentally found people in Ukraine, Russia, Ecuador, and CR who were great hosts and generally kind, helpful folks!
Thank God for them!

My experience has made me sensitive to other "out-of-towners" and people new to any area I'm in-- always go out of my way to help.

I plan to repay their kindness in the future by doing the same for others.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Raced a storm on a tiny boat out in the Gulf of Mexico.
Tried to open a cashew nut (straight off the tree) with my mouth!
Visited Siberia in February (and stayed about 10 days!).
Built my own blast furnace.
Made my own soap, grew my own food, cut my own hair, made buttermilk and kefir... :)

Hmmmm... it's a long list!
