ABOUT ME

I am a recent college graduate that is fond of travel and is frequently doing so. I am currently meandering thru Asia and have been staying with friends where ever I go. I find that staying with someone who knows an area makes the trip amazing. I like it when I learn what is interesting in a new place from someone who knows by having lived there. Plus I love meeting new interesting people!

A bit about myself:
As I said, I am a recent college graduate from a small college in western Massachusetts. My specialty was in Mycology which is the study of mushrooms. Its really fun stuff to learn about. I have many other interests including photography, cooking, good dance music, dancing, philosophy, metaphysics, fiction, and more.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I plan to host travlers in California when I return and know my apartment situation. I live near San Fransico, and the Golden gate bridge in the town of Tiburon.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Limited couch surfing... I have only been staying with friends that I knew previously. I would love to meet new people in both their country and my own.

My musical tastes are varied but favorites include Talking Heads, Air, Phat Conductor, Mimosa, Tipper, Bass Nectar and DJ Icon.

Its hard to know what to type here. I have been hiking in many places around Californa, including half-dome. Other things I will add later.

I know a lot about the natural world in terms of what I learn in Biology. I love to talk about such things when people are interested. I can cook and bake but I would like to learn how to do so better. I just finished a 10 week course in wilderness survival so I am anxious to get a chance to teach this stuff. This inlcudes shelter building, fire making, animal tracking, felling trees, spliting wood, and some handy crafts made from wood.
