I see myself as an introverted and quiet person, but the people who know me told me that I actually talk a lot. I don't know who is right. Our self-perception is almost always different to how the world sees us so don't wanna even try to accurately describe myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fanatic of Iranian cinema. Also, I love everything by Jim Jarmusch and Ingmar Bergman and a lot by Robert Bresson, Aki Kaurismaki, Akira Kurosawa, et etc. Fav movies: The Turin horse, Faraway, so close!, Transylvania, Dogtooth, Breathless, Taste of Cherry, Cria Cuervos, The Dresser, The Seventh Seal, Once upon a time in Anatolia, etc, etc, etc. Books: Thomas Mann: Magic Mountain, Marcel Proust: In Search Of Lost Time. Other authors like Rainer Maria Rilke, George Orwell, Milan Kundera, Oscar Wilde, Dostoyevsky, and of course Hermann Hesse (one of the bests),etc. Music: classic persian music, underground electronic music and some electro jazz (like Nils Petter Molvaer or Eivind Aarset), also classical music and Massive Attack, Jamiroquai, Moloko, Radiohead and many more.
