ABOUT ME

I've lived all over California, and in Auckland, New Zealand for a spell. I have loved reading, writing and making art for as long as I can remember. These days I like to paint and draw as well as write my own poetry and short stories. I'm a pretty contemplative person, but really sweet and outgoing. I love a good talk. I'm curious, kind, and deeply independent.

PHILOSOPHY

I think that each of us alone are the custodians of our meaning, but that sometimes we need a little help in creating that meaning. I've found the most direction can be uncovered through adventure, solitude, nature, the arts, and--most of all--genuine connection with other human beings.

As far as books, I'm a big fan of postmodern lit, poetry, and science fiction. Too many to count.

For movies, anything so much as sneezed upon by Tarantino, Kubrick or Lynch is ok with me. I could probably watch "Howl's Moving Castle" every day, forever.
