I am Bojanna, I come from the Netherlands but I decided to work and live for a year on Saba, an incredibly beautiful island in the Caribean.
I work as a kindergarten teacher on Saba and I enjoy to work with children and to help them grow. I work and live here since the beginning of August now.

I enjoy the beautiful nature on the island and de kind people who are living here. Also the relaxed way of living is very nice to experience. I would really recommend to visit Saba.

I love to talk to people and to learn about different cultures and experiences people have. I also love music, I like to sing, listen to music and I like to make music (I play the clarinet). Besides that I like to travel, even though I didn't have the opportunity so often yet and this is my first time outside of Europe. I would like to see as much of the world as possible. Other things I like to do are having a drink with nice people, watch a movie or series and I also like to read.

I am on Couchsurfing, because it is a great way to get to know people and their cultures. It is a nice way to kind of blend in and get to know a place from a local view. And ofcourse, because travelling is very expensive, I want to have and give the opportunity to keep it affordable and see as much of our beautiful world as possible.
