About Me
I am still figuring out my life after a long time abroad with working and traveling in Belgium, Budapest, Canada, and NZ! Once my life is stable again, I will be happy to host and meet Couchsurfers again.
I'm more listener than talker, waiting for an opportunity to have a deep, interesting conversation. However, I am carrying with me a bag full of funny and ridiculous stories from traveling to share.
I am passionate about being outdoors and all different sports, hiking in the mountains, taking the backpack, walk, sweat, camp, observe birds, enjoy the views and piece being at the top of the list. Also running, cycling, swimming, kayaking, sailing, yoga, and many other activities from the bucket list that I want to try or try and want to learn more.
I studied environmental engineering because I dreamed of helping limit the destruction that humans are making. I haven't really managed to succeed as such, making it a job, so at least through joining various volunteering programs and trying to limit my impact.
It's a bit contradictory to the last sentence, I work in tourism at the moment-not forever! What started as a freetime hobby - guiding friends and foreigns in my hometowns - became a part-time job and now the main source of income.
My childhood hobby has been drawing, painting, and reading, which I am trying to get back to and maybe also study one day. Through traveling, I am realizing a dream to visit the main art galleries of the world.
I also love learning new languages and picking up some words from each of it (from some remember only the word "cheers"). Started learning turkish, hungarian, spanish, italian, german, french, korean, bulgarian, rumanian, indonesian, and maori, but managed to be fluent only in english and dutch.
I rarely drink and prefer to eat vegetarian.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
When you come from work, the place is the same. If you share it with someone, it's becoming home. My guests always brought positive energy, interesting talks, and surprises. They made me dream. Most of them I will never forget.
Thanks to couchsurfing, I could go where I couldn't afford to go, do what I would never expect to do, and meet people that I didn't know existed.
I hosted a few times in my city Brno and many times in Antwerp, showing people around, discovering and wondering together. I joined many CS meetings in Antwerp, Brussel, Bordeaux, Seville, Krakow, Malaga, Montpellier, Budapest, Vancouver and helped to organise CS crashes in Antwerp and Budapest and I am a big fun of this international activity. I have also found very interesting couches in different parts of Europe, US, Vietnam, Taiwan, Korea, and Brazil. You gave me special experiences.
Interests
I am always fancy to meet new interesting people from all around the world, learn something from them and show them around, hear their stories, drink some coffee together, taste a good drink and traditional dishes, relax in a park/forest, soak cultural life at galleries and museums, jump at the gigs and festivals, get off the energy by sports, go for hiking and make some unexpected trip! Explore new places, admire an architecture or countryside and meet new people, and learn from their experiences and habits. Every day offers an opportunity to learn, to make something nice, and to make life better.

Teach, Learn, Share
Interested in learning something from other languages and cultures, discussing actual topics and life stories. Get some travel and culture tips and taste/learn new local recipes. Open to enriching my list with anything new is always fun.
I can share a good coffee, chocolate, meal, and map when I host and take you to some special places or around when I have time. My house used to be a place full of random art and music instruments to try and bikes to borrow.
