About Me
ABOUT ME
I have been new to both CS and traveling. Since I now still dependent on my parents, I haven't gone much abroad nor solo traveled. I've got permission from my parents to start hosting CSers in our house, and hosting people now is like a way for me to satisfy my travel hunger and to learn traveling experiences for my surfing future! :D
[Updated!] I am actually in the U.S. now, in Ohio state! I currently cannot host you in Hanoi but I hope I will soon be able to guide you in my lovely city!
PHILOSOPHY
Taoism, Spirituality (not Religion) -- kind of like New Age movement, Femininity, Intuition.
Maybe you can grasp something from these words. I have not shaped clearly what is my philosophy yet (maybe it is no need to do so) but it is pretty much influenced by these ideas (and the teachings of Osho, Shunyamurti, Maharshi,...)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Living in Hanoi, I understand that visitors can hardly grasp the essence of the city if they are just "visiting". Couchsurfing provides me a chance of meeting the locals and that is a "shortcut" to somehow know how the city really like and to live the city as they live.
I believe that people make the place, so I love to have interesting people around when I'm traveling!
Also, randomness usually brings me good luck, so I will surely embrace the experience with you, whoever you are!
Interests
Music, Dance, Spirituality, the connection between art and human development.
Recently I started to meditate. If you are interested, I'm more than happy to share my experience and hopefully I will learn from you too!

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Jazz, Blues, Regina Spektor, Queen, Radiohead, Rachael Yamagata,...
Book: Ayn Rand (The Fountainhead and her essays), George Orwell (1984, Animal Farm, his essays!), Crime and Punishment of Dostoevsky, Life of Pi,...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Me alone, on the balcony of the 48th floor in Singapore, gazing at the starry night when I was 15. That was the first time in my life I was able to see such a starry sky. I felt I was small yet connected to that universe above. And I wondered who also looked up to the sky and felt this sacred feeling.
Filmed a Rinpoche, a reincarnated teacher of Tibetian Buddhism from Nepal, for my personal documentary.
Teach, Learn, Share
As I said, I would be more than happy to share about my spiritual practice. But don't get me wrong, I love to talk about many things!
I know a bit how to read tarot, but mostly I read for myself because I have trouble articulating my feelings about the card for the other person. But learning about the philosophy of tarot is interesting and meaningful.
We can dance together!
