Hi! I’m Bonne Amie, a 36-year-old, Rwandan originally from Musanze and now living in Nyanza in the Southern Province, near the King’s Palace Museum.
I'm a proud mom of two amazing boys (7 and 9 years old), and they fill my life with love and joy!

I love meeting travelers from around the world and sharing real everyday life. Hosting for me is about more than a place to sleep, it’s about conversations, home-cooked meals, traditional games, and learning from each other.

Staying with us means experiencing authentic local life in Nyanza, a region rich in Rwandan history and tradition.

I’m a proud mom of two wonderful boys, and hosting travelers is also a beautiful way for my children to grow up learning about different cultures, kindness, and openness from a young age.

Today, I run a tours and experiences company in Rwanda that focuses on more than just tours.

This dream was born from the encouragement of my Couchsurfing guests and friends who believed in me and told me, “Bonnie, you should be a tour guide.” Their advice inspired me to create something bigger = a social enterprise that helps not only travelers, but also empowers local women to open their homes and welcome guests from around the world.
