About Me

Hi everyone, I’m Banni — a Berlin soul living in Munich.
I love adventure and diving deeply into every place I visit, rather than just passing through.

I value real human connection and those moments when something truly sparks through interaction. I care about both people and the natural world, and I try, in my own way, to understand the world as it really is — different lives, different realities — and to make it a little better where I can.

The rest is better saved for when we meet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like meeting different people, and I’m fine with different people meeting me.
I’m here for real connections — and yeah, it saves money for everyone.
Tourism gets nothing. We get a good meal instead.
Sounds fair to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Punk, post-punk, rock, techno, classical, neo-classical, hip hop — whatever.
I don’t like classifying things. Every track is singular.

Films are endless. My walls carry Thelma & Louise and Sans toit ni loi.

Books? Far too many to count.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On the way back from Berlin to Munich.
A conversation with a homeless man from Romania.
The train left without me.

A number from the night before. Küfa.
I texted her.
2 a.m. Her door.
We talked. The sky changed color.

Morning. Breakfast.
A train again — this time without a plan.
Countryside.

Grandparents.
A small cat.
Warmth, briefly.

When it was time to leave, something broke its boundary.
She was barefoot.
I lifted her and stepped into the snow.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Food, stories, music, futures.
What I can give, and choose to give, is on the table.
It depends on who you are, and how the moment feels.
