About Me
Hello! I'm Bonnie (23), nice to meet you. My partner and I are going to New Zealand (Aotearoa) for a couple days and we are excited to explore the north island (Te Ika-a-Māui)
I moved to Hobart (TAS) a couple years ago and work various retail jobs. My partner (Tom, 25) is a Hobart native and is a PhD student.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
My partner and I are hoping to meet and connect with people whilst we travel. I have used couchsurfing before (whilst I was living in Japan) and found it to be such an incredible experience.
We are so excited to go to new places together and are hoping to stay in Napier, Taupo and Rotorua whilst we travel through to Auckland. We want to experience local culture, have light nature walks and spend time enjoying the environment
Interests
I love art so I would love to see more art galleries or exhibitions here. I also like to sew or embroider which I do as a hobby and I would also like to do this more seriously in the future maybe. I am also an avid snow skier!
Music, Movies, and Books
I love pop, rock and rap music and my partner loves post hardcore and folk.
I love comedies mainly but am always up for a good blockbuster and my partner likes comedies and horror.
I like to read non-fiction (politics, ecology, humor) and my partner likes to read fiction (sci-fi, thriller) mainly.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Tom and I are very tidy and considerate people. We are both non-meat eaters and are happy to cook/provide our own food or help in the kitchen if the space is communal (Tom is very good in the kitchen). I hope that we can share in stories, laughter, kindness and become friends.
