ABOUT ME

Hello to all couchsurfers. I am Bonnie from Hong Kong. I am now working in a children center which aims to promote children's right to play freely in a local NGO. I love my job so much as I love children so much. Their mind is simply yet infinite, I am always amused by the children I saw. Though I work with children, that doesn't make my job an easy one. That's why I need to take a break out of this hustle and bustle; that's why I love travelling so much. In these few years, I start to fall in love to travel alone, I think everytime I travel by myself, I will discover more about me.
I may not be very talkative person, but I love the time spending with people. It is difficult to tell who I really am, as I think I will have many sides of self, haha.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

At first, I simply know this is a wonderful opportunity we could get in touch with local and even live the local life there. It is more than a relationship to host and guest. It is a great experience you could have in your trip. At the same time, I want to re-experience the life of being a local in my home town. When we live there for too long, we will sometimes forget about how lovely it is in our city, so I want to discover the beauty of my city together with other surfers^^.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am treated nicely when I traveled to different countries. My most memorable one will be the time spending at Chiangmai. Usually many host can only accommodate not many travelers, it is understandable. But Chiangmai experience just make me 'WOW', my host host 10 to 11 travelers at her house, and she also took good care of every traveler, also we have a wonderful dinner time in her house, which some of the travelers will help to cook for all of us. That is so incredible! I would never expect my couchsurfing xperience would be that memorable!

The second one will be my recent trip to Seoul, Korea. I had a nice meet up with two friendly Korean girls. She took us to experience the local life of Seoul in a different way. But what they are trying to do is the same: to make the travelers to have a real-life experience to their culture and local life there. After that, I am deeply influenced by that, and hope to do something the same to experience and discover the beauty of my city together with them.

The most amazing thing in my life is actually my life.

I may not tell you what thing I've ever experienced, as every part I've experienced, it means a lot to me, no matter good or bad ones.

So, live at the moment is actually amazing to me!
