Hello All 👋🏼
My name is Bonnie and my partners name is Jesse James (yes I know it should be Clyde, I’ve been told a million times 😂) we are a very easy going, friendly couple from northern NSW Australia.
We have just moved to Canada with no real plan but really open and keen to meet and share the adventure with as many people as possible.
We have a great love and passion for travel and the outdoors! We have backpacked long-term most of Europe and Asia and had many wonderful and not so wonderful experiences and memories that we love to story share about 😀
At home for the last four years I’ve worked as a outdoor expedition instructor takings school kids on week long canoeing, hiking, rock climbing, abseiling, camping expeditions. Jesse has worked in land restoration and conservation.
We have a great love for coffee and would maybe even go to the extent to call ourself coffee snobs ☕️ we also don’t mind a good beer or two 🍻
We are a really relaxed couple and are happy to mingle or happy to do our own thing, whatever suits you. We are also neat, clean up after ourselves and respectful and understand the concept of sharing space as the last 6 years we have been in multiple share houses 🏠
Our dream for Canada 🇨🇦 is to buy a van and do an amazing van life road trip, working and hiking along the journey 🚐

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

We have only actually couched surfed once in Glasgow and had the most incredible experience. We definitely would like to utilise it more through Canada to meet lots of people and get local some knowledge and tips about the places we are in and travelling to.

Love of cooking good food, drinking amazing coffee. Hiking, ridding, kayaking and exploring the outdoors. We both also skate and surf and just have a general interest in people and making new connections and friendship along our journeys.

Into all kinds of music, don't have a specific favorite. Love to watch love bands and have a boogie.
Movies- we like everything, something with a good plot. Dramas and thriller are good.
Books- I love to read, really enjoy smart fiction and am a absolute crime buff. Can’t get enough crime reading. Jesse loves historical and factual books.
We both really enjoy podcasts of all sorts too!!

We decided it would be a good idea to do a walking tour through the jungle in Bardia, Nepal, with the goal to see a wild tiger. There was also leopards, rhinos, monkeys in the area. We crossed paths with a massive male angry one tusk outcasted elephant who chased us up a track. Our guide told us to run and don’t fall over or we will get trampled and die. I don’t think we have ever ran so fast! We veered off the track into the jungle and had to crawl through it and wait quietly for two hours until the elephant had gone. It’s surely was an experience.
