ABOUT ME

I just finished my degree in economics at Ottawa U; where I did one semester abroad in Vienna, Austria. Currently I am in Wuhan, China where I am teaching English and learning Chinese.
I am passionate about the global communtiy. I think we need to stop seeing the world in terms of borders and divisions and start seeing ourselves as one. That is why couchsurfing is so important to me. It's a community that is open to anyone and everyone.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've gone couchsurfing a couple of times during my travels in Europe and I love to attend the meetings. They are fun and a great way to meet new people. I was a host in Ottawa where I hosted about a dozen people. Currently I live in Wuhan and have started hosting there as well.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed in Seoul, London, Krakow and Montreal. These experiences were really positive and allowed me to meet some interesting people. I have hosted many people in Ottawa and Wuhan and have loved every occasion. Mostly though I love couchsurfing parties and get togethers. I relish chances to meet people from all over the world and share our stories.

meeting new people, positivity, art, beauty, history, food, people, music, running, hiking, languages (right now I am striving hard to improve my Chinese), writing, novels, great conversations and chocolate!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first couchsurfer took me bungie jumping. I had never been before and she found a place in Ottawa where we could do it. It was easily the most thrilling thing I have ever done.

Teach, Learn, Share

I want to improve my Chinese. I take classes at University but am still quite poor. Anyone need help in English or Frech? I am always looking for a tandem partner to practice Chinese with.
