ABOUT ME

I can't say I know why we are all gathered here on this planet today, but I am fairly certain that it has something to do with creating and sharing. People excite and inspire me. I love to joke around and be happy and weird and make funny noises because I am a very playful person. I also love to connect and bond with people on the deeper levels, whether that means an intense conversation, or having a jam session together, making art together, dancing etc. I love all these things! And I love good food and going to great places I've never been before! I love talking, but am also quite comfortable with silence. There are so many ways to connect and find inspiration in this world!

Hm, let's see, I play in a glam rock 'n' roll band. You can see pictures of me doing that here. I love to read juicy absurdist literature. I'm a Pisces. I'm recently single and mostly straight. I've been in the same small town for too long. I need an adventure.

Some other things you might find helpful to know - I will eat almost any kind of food (with the exception of cake and other sweet breads...yuuuck!) I drink alcohol and sometimes use other substances but am perfectly capable of controlling myself. I will respect your space and would be happy to do dishes/trash/clean-up if necessary. Just tell me what you want me to wear while I'm doing it. Just kidding about that last part!

Intereses

Music! Art! Films! Creative writing! Creativity! The dynamic human spirit! I'm fascinated by the human mind and what people can achieve when they feel encouraged and inspired. I'm also quite fascinated by the darker, uglier aspects of the human psyche, and a lot of that comes out in my work but not always. I spend a lot of my time by myself in my studio writing and recording my music. Some might say I'm kind of a hermit but I don't really think that's true. When I'm not doing that, I love spending time with friends and playing music with my band or jamming with whoever. I listen to a lot of music, watch a lot of old movies, make art, read books, study and practice occult sciences, meet people, collude at bars, and dancing. Sometimes I 'go dancing' and other times I just dance right where I'm standing!

Música, películas y libros

Movies? Fellini, Lynch, Stroheim, Bergman, Stone are some names whose movies I really love. I really love those 50 pack Mill Creek collections. 50 movies for like 12 bucks it's great. Some of them are awful but there's some awesome stupid rare off-beat stuff in there that I love.

Music is my main obsession. I listen to all kinds but corporate radio really sucks! Why? Because 6 companies (GE, Time Warner, Viacom, Disney, CBS Corp, and News Corp) OWN IT ALL! Music is like a three hour long conversation for me. But I will say this: I'm thankful to be from a town with a very rich musical history with a lot of independent successes and I've been turned on to a lot of the lesser known more experimental groups that do things on their own terms.

Books...love 'em! Authors? HP Lovecraft, Robert Anton Wilson, Robert Monroe, James Joyce, Virginia Wolfe, Agatha Christie, George McDonald & more.

Epiphany. I notice little things. Insects, flowers, door-handles, sounds, accents, smells in the air, road signs, billboards, people's mannerisms and expressions. A situation where all these little things seem to synchronize in some way and suddenly something makes sense. Something that has never made sense before and probably never will again.

I like teaching AND learning! I can teach you how to play guitar while you teach me how to swing dance. I still haven't learned how to sew either.
