ABOUT ME

I'm a Chinese born in Malaysia. Some of our 'kind' proclaims themselves as Chinese-Malaysian. This is usually how we introduce ourselves to others who has little knowledge on the demography of my country and it is not true enough to give you the whole picture of it. My country consists of multi-racial population in which everybody does not even look like a Malaysian from the very first impression.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Traveling is always a long-term(sometimes is hard) process of learning in pursuit of something you do not really know until you make it. Without intercommunication, conversation, exchanging of idea with the people in the world(am I too idealistic?), traveling means nothing to me.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm new in CouchSurfing.

I was invited several times into villages when I was in an on-foot crossing from northern to southern edge of Socotra Island in Yemen. I still remembered the experience sleeping on a mattress in an open courtyard of a stone house located in a wadi where hundreds of thousands of stars accompanying me all night long.

In fact, I sleep on the couch when I get back to my own house!
