Hello there!

I'm Borja, from Madrid. some friends introduced me to the couchsurfing idea, so I just started with couchsurfing in April 2016.

Important note: After three months hosting more than 30 people from different countries and cultures we can make an assessment: most of them were wonderful people, who got involved, brought typical food or drinks from their country, cooked some times, told stories, etc. but a few just wanted to sleep, have a shower and even take some food for free. We want to make our hosts feel confortable at home, we let you stay at home when we're out, use everything you need, give you a small room with a matress, etc. and it's fair to say that every single person who's been at home have said it's been one of their best experiences in CS. That's why we want to say if you want to experience, to share sth, to meet new people, to learn and to have fun you're at the right place, bit if you just want a free couch, shower and kitchen, please don't ask to come home, it's simply not our idea of what CS consist on.

Going on with me, I'm a lawyer by profession but what I love most is music, sports, phyloshophy, history, travelling and cinema.

I've been also a teacher in a secondary school and I love to play games and discover new cultures.

I used to be a summer camp instructor and was part of a rock music band..

Currently I'm in Bogotá working for the spanish embassy here.

Such a good way to meet people from different countries, share views, hobbies and cultures in a way that sometimes we don't have the time or opportunity to do.

兴趣

I'd resume them in five categories:

- sports: tennis, football, hiking, biking, swimming...
- travelling: cities, villages, beaches or mountains, I'm a curious person, I like to travel and learn at the same time.
- reading: I like contemporary novel, essays and history books. Paul Auster, Eric Hobsbawm or Truman Capote are among my favorites.
- cuisine: spanish, italian, french, peruvian...
- cinema: classical movies and european contemporary as well.
