I recently graduated with a degree in International Relations and Economics. I went to Nicaragua for a few months during the summer to practice my Spanish and see a new place. Now I live and work in NYC for International Development. I moved here without knowing a soul, and have met some wonderful people. I have more room in my apartment than I know what to do with, which is why filling it with Couchsurfers seemed like the only logical choice... :-)
I love learning, meeting new people, and engaging in meaningful conversation. Many would call me an idealist, and they would be exactly right. I am also a romantic. I am sarcastic (usually too much for my own good), perpetually inquisitive, and awfully restless as of late. I prefer spontaneity and dancing to any and every kind of music. Finally, to me travel and being on the go is living which is why I was borntomove! : )
"Don't be afraid to go out on a limb, because that's where the fruit is."
"Go salsa dancing with your confusion."
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have only just started with my CouchSurfing involvement, but I have already had some wonderful experiences. Also, I am planning to meet a number of other CS'ers here in New York.
Wonderful hospitality, amazing people, and excellent conversations can best sum up my couchsurfing experiences. Oh, and good food!

Teach, Learn, Share
One nugget of advice: Give it all away.
"We are all co-authors of this dancing exuberance, where even our inabilities are having roast."
"Life is a matter of a miracle, that is collected over time by moments flabbergasted to be in each other's presence. The world is an exam to see if we can rise into the direct experience. Our eyesight is here as a test to see if we can see beyond it and and doubt is here as an exam for our vitality."
