ABOUT ME

Originally I come from Slovenia, currently working and traveling in Canada. I spent the summer working at the Besnard lake, fishing camp, as a cook for the staff. I previously lived and worked in New Zealand and Australia. Feels like backpacking and exploring is just the way to go for me and I plan on using my "good" years on doing as much of that as i can.

I'm a landscape architect by trade, so far i worked and tried out many different professions, from farming, working on fishing boats, i was the main baker of a sourdough bakery, driving tractors, being a postman, and many other things,..

I also love drawing, sketching, ink, watercolors.. I always travel with a sketchbook and am happy to share my work with anyone who is interested.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people, see the places in visiting from locals point of view, share my knowledge, bake a nice loaf of bread, and cook, for the nice people and help travelers if i can. To learn from and meet the locals wherever i go.
